The climatic spa Tambach-Dietharz is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, and has been known as a holiday destination for more than 120 years. Surrounded by seven valleys and embedded in one of the biggest forest and hiking areas in Germany, lies the idyllic little mountain village at the presumably oldest pass summit above the Thuringian Forest. Surrounded by wood, clear water and pure air, Tambach-Dietharz is nowadays a popular starting point for nature lovers, hikers and those who look for recreation.
