Luther exhibition in the village hall

In the Luther chamber of the elaborately refurbished village hall "Zum wilden Moor" an exhibition on the subject of "Martin Luther and Möhra” can be visited. It introduces Möhra as the ancestral home town of the Reformer, informs about Martin Luther’s stay on 3rd and 4th May 1521 in Möhra and his ensuing “capture” near Steinbach. Moreover, the history of the Luther monument is examined. Two very successful, large-size mural paintings complement the exhibition.
